1/11/10 - Happy New Year! I know there's not a discernable difference between December 31 and January 1, but here's to a better year than the last. I'm still writing and have started booking again for late winter on into the spring. Exciting times for me as I venture back up to Minnesota to promote the CD and hang out with old friends. I'm already anticipating a wonderful evening at The Coffee Grounds doing a double-bill webcast/live performance on Lonnie Knight's Twin Cities Radio on the Net show (see show dates for more info and how to catch it on your computer while it's happening!). More shows and updates to come, so stay tuned...
12/5/09 - I'll be taking a little time off this winter to finish writing tunes for my 2nd CD. But, watch the Show Dates link for possible pick-up gigs. I'm also planning a spring "mini-tour" to Minnesota. I'll post more updates when there's more firm information. Check out the Press link for an article that appeared the the Chatham News in November. 8/5/09 - I spent last weekend in Charlotte to take a little "writer's retreat." Was very relaxing and I was able to write three new songs. Heading up to Lenoir on Saturday to make reference recordings. So, that means CD #2 begins. I have 2 local shows coming up and one at The Evening Muse in Charlotte in late August. Hope you'll be able to come by to one of those shows - should be tons of fun! Check the "Show Dates" link for venues and details.
7/16/09 - I'm getting a little more airplay with WUNC - thanks MUCH, Freddy and Keith. Also will be featured on Majic 94.1's Locals Only show on Sunday, July 19 (sometime between 8 and 9 p.m.). Hope you can give it a listen either live on the radio or streaming from their website (www.majic941.com) Appreciate the support, Lisa! 6/20/09 - Just got back from Asheville and the EOTW showcase at Hookah Joe's and Summer SOULstice. Was a GREAT time - everybody there was so nice. A shoutout goes to my bass player, Forrest Brown and drummer, Phill Kirby. You guys rocked! Also, thanks Nate and Ben for putting this shindig together. If you didn't make it, you missed a fun time.
